Rivers like to run in straight lines. They take the quickest path from source to sea.
Or do they?
Look at an aerial shot of a river. You’ll see twists and bends as the river curves, carving its path oceanward.
Once upon a time, in my college geology classes, I learned that it’s only the young rivers that behave in this twisting, restless way.
The old rivers, codgers that they are, have already carved out their nice straight course to the sea, no bones about it, and now their water takes no time reaching its goal, thank you very much!
What does this have to do with intuition?
We receive information via channels. TV channels, YouTube channels, and yes, intuitive channels. A channel is a route that information takes to reach its end goal.
Intuitive information comes to you via the channels in your energy systems and your imagination. When those channels are “kinked up,” the intuitive information can’t flow in a powerful straight line.
Kind of like a young river.
But when your energy systems are unkinked, and your imagination is uncensored and free, the intuitive information flows quickly and easily to its end goal: Your conscious awareness.
If you’re wondering how to amp up your intuition, think about how you can unkink your energy systems. Healing techniques, such as meridian tapping and Reiki, are powerful unkinking tools.
So is walking in Nature.
And petting a dog.
And taking a moment of Intentional Resting.
Anything that unkinks your energy systems and leaves you feeling fresh and clear helps the intuitive information to rush right in. You can count on it.
